Publication: NRC Handelsblad Summer

For the annual NRC Handelsblad Summer Special, nine photographers were commissioned to capture their ultimate vision of summer. Working with the theme 'Around the House'. Since moving from a bustling city to a small rural village, I have been fascinated by a distinct local habit: everyone collects and hoards. Therefore I have collected all the children's toys I could find in the gardens, neighbors sheds and I have portrait my own children, Jette and Abe, creating a playful yet thought-provoking installation in the middle of the field.
